Interactive programs for teachers and their students having nothing to do with computers!Aaron
Fowler Now more than ever, our students must be encouraged to look for life-affirming ways to counter the violence and hatred in our world and within themselves. Goal-setting, self-esteem-building, decision-making, critical thinking and diversity are all avenues of exploration as we look at bettering the world we live in. Aaron Fowler draws from 11 years in public school teaching and his life among inner-city youth as he brings entertainment and audence participation to assemblies, class presentations and workshops. His engaging style of folk music, storytelling and discussion, combined with his firsthand experience, speaks to their life struggles. Roomdad Productions believes choices and options are vital tools in breaking the ruinous cycles of poverty, drugs, gangs and other destructive behaviors. Aaron Fowler exposes students to these tools, sometimes for the first time, through his engaging programs that offer seeds of hope and change. Aaron Fowler is a graduate of Friends University in Wichita, Kansas, and has a Masters in Music Education (MME) from Wichita State University. He has taught public school since 1984, working in both elementary and middle schools, and is a champion of children and children's rights. FOR
